Pick team members that have experience with the asset class you are developing. You are asking for trouble if you try to use a general contractor that specializes in industrial properties to try to build a hospital. Also, don’t just hire firms with experience in the asset class you are developing, but look at the specific experience level of the individuals you will be working with.
